While I was working for a company, I learned that a colleague of mine had been living with pain that had not improved for more than nine years. Together, we searched for a treatment approach suited to his symptoms, aiming for a full recovery. After spending 300 days a year on treatment and verification, I was able to resolve his pain. Hoping that the exercise therapy skills and knowledge I gained as a by-product could help someone else, I began offering sessions to people in similar situations.

As I started thinking about how I could support people suffering from pain across borders, I left my job at the company and, together with my partner, began providing exercise therapy mainly in Iran and China. There, however, I met people whose conditions were far more severe than those I had seen in Japan, and I came to realize that pain relief treatment was needed before exercise therapy. After returning to Japan, I traveled to the United States in pursuit of a reliable way to relieve pain and studied KYT, a therapy based on anatomy. To better understand the foundations of the technique, I also took part in a human anatomy program in the U.S., where I learned through hands-on dissection.

Today, I am able to use manual techniques to relieve pain, which has greatly shortened the time it takes for clients to move on to the self-care stage. I continue working beyond language barriers so that more people can experience the impact that pain relief can have on daily life.

After an accident in Myanmar, I began suffering from pain and various unexplained symptoms. Realizing the limits of treatment available in Japan, I traveled abroad in search of answers, but even then, 13 years passed without a solution. I eventually shifted away from relying on passive treatment and chose instead to learn the knowledge and skills needed to heal myself. With my partner’s support, I made a major recovery.

Wanting to share the techniques that had changed my life with people who needed them, I began offering exercise therapy in Japan and overseas. However, I also felt its limitations when dealing with severe symptoms. After returning to Japan, I took part in human dissection in the United States and continued pursuing safe and effective techniques grounded in anatomy.

Today, even people who had given up on treatment because they were unable to do exercise therapy have succeeded in improving their quality of life through pain relief. To help spread the experience of turning “what once seemed impossible” into “what is now possible,” I continue taking on this challenge beyond the barriers of language.
